Meet Charisse

My journey in entrepreneurship is deeply rooted in the resilience instilled by my Filipino-American immigrant parents, coupled with years of experience in sales and management in higher education. As the co-founder of Dapper Boi, I've played a key role in developing our gender and body-inclusive apparel line, a vision inspired by my wife Vicky's quest for clothing that truly reflected her identity. My advocacy for LGBTQ+ equality and diversity has not only been a voice at high-profile summits but also helped earn Dapper Boi a spot on the prestigious OUT100 2023 list. We're also featured in the award-winning documentary "Show Her The Money." My journey hasn't been without its challenges; in 2017, a tough IVF journey blessed us with twin girls. Now, I balance two full-time roles: leading our household and serving as the Chief Operating Officer of Dapper Boi. My mission is to nurture our family's well-being and success, ensuring a lasting impact and legacy.
